Family Tree Info

Our Website Plan

My goal is to have one place where you caneasily find links and files; a centralized website for all other areas such as family, trees and recipes etc.

About the family trees

Family Tree Printouts:

I have made printouts of the main lines of our family trees which can be downloaded from my Google Drive, if you wish to have a copy to keep. Click on a link below to go to the downloads section. If you print the pages out, you can lay them side by side following the family lines to create a chart.

To view our trees online at the Ancestry.ca website:

Dan and I each have our own account on Ancestry.ca. This is so that when relatives look us up through DNA they will find the correct person easier.

Ancestry.ca requires at least a “GUEST” account which is FREE. Any links to Ancestry.ca will require you to sign in at Ancestry.

You will see a sign in box like the one below upon entry to the Ancestry.ca website. You will need to sign in with either your Google account or Apple account, or you can sign up with Ancestry.ca for the free guest account there if you don’t already have one. This should allow you viewing access to at least the ancestors. If you would like to view living relatives, you will need to contact Judy for an Ancestry access invitation.

DNA Testing – Ancestry.ca

Both Dan and I as well as some of his siblings, have done the DNA tests via Ancestry.ca. Through that, we both have had contact with a some cousins down the line, which is very cool! If you are thinking about doing the DNA testing, it’s worth it! Check out our DNA results!
